The Life and Science Museum in Durham, NC will host its 6th annual Youth Climate Summit in November. High school teams (4-6 students together with an adult mentor) will engage with local scientists and community organizers through inspiring speakers, an Eco-Fair, and workshops tailored to climate action.
This youth-led event is hosted by a dedicated group of teens who meet after school throughout the year, with guidance from our Museum team, to curate an event that is impactful and relevant to their peers. Follow the Teen Advisory Board on Instagram @NCclimatesummit
The summit culminates in teams developing a Climate Action Plan to implement in their own schools and communities.
Who should attend: Environmental clubs, scout groups, and youth leadership teams ready to lead the way to a sustainable future. For more information and to register: Youth Climate Summit.
